Lucas Digne omitted from France training because of hamstring issue
Everton defender Lucas Digne did not even warm-up for France’s Nations League clash against Belgium, according to Loic Tanzi.
According to the RMC Sport journalist, the left-back had a hamstring scare pre game and Les Bleus did not want to risk him.
He did not mention the severity of the injury which does not necessarily rule him out of the Everton v West Ham clash post the international break.
Via his personal Twitter account, Tanzi wrote, “Lucas Digne did not even warm up this evening in Turin. The left-back is preserved because of a hamstring alert.”
Hope it’s not serious
Digne is the heart and soul of this Everton side so his absence will cost Rafa Benitez and his side a great deal.
Despite having just one assist to his name this season, he is one of this team’s most creative players.

Last season, Hinchcliffe hailed the French international on Sky Sports (May 19), labelling him as “sensational”.
What’s worse is that, in his absence, there is nobody in that position who can replace him.
Ben Godfrey can be played out of position, but he is more comfortable playing at centre-back and as a right-back.
Hopefully, Digne is back in action against West Ham as they have talented attackers who could give the Toffees a few problems.
We will be waiting with baited breath to see the extent of his injury once this match is finished.
