Agents of Donny Van de Beek open exit talks, Everton want deal

Everton and their long-standing pursuit of Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek looks set to continue into January.

The Dutchman was on the verge of moving to Goodison Park in the summer before the Red Devils pulled the plug on his exit.

Corriere Dello Sport have shared a major update ahead of January, with Van de Beek’s agents now involved in talks.

The Italian outlet have reported that Juventus are also interested as the agents initiate talks over a move with numerous contacts.

It is suggested, however, that Everton are the ones that are “particularly interested” in a move for the Dutchman.

Van de Beek is looking to relaunch his career after a nightmare spell at Old Trafford following his breakout at Ajax.

Rafa Benitez wants reinforcements in midfield, and Marcel Brands has already made his interest clear at Goodison Park.

Get it done.

This is one deal that simply has to be completed in the January window.

Everton have made it very clear that the midfield sensation is one of their top targets with his name consistently popping up after the summer window.

Allan and Abdoulaye Doucoure are currently smashing things in the Premier League, but they have poor options behind them.

Tom Davies can do a job, but having similar quality to our main two men to come off the bench when needed would be massively benefitial.

Realistically, van de Beek doesn’t want to be at Old Trafford and the Red Devils can’t find a spot for him – maybe that place is at Everton.

Owen Hargreaves has labelled the midfielder as “perfect” in the past, and now it is time for him to prove that should this move happen.
