Everton duo Demarai Gray and Abdoulaye Doucoure selected in in Sportsmail’s team of the season so far
Everton have started the season strongly and find themselves fifth in the Premier League table.
The Daily Mail have picked up the best XI of the season so far, and they have included two Everton players.
Everton midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure finds a place, while summer signing Demarai Gray also features in the list.

The duo sits in the good company of players like Edouard Mendy, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Thiago Silva, Paul Pogba and Mohamed Salah.
Although there is a long way to go, the list has been prepared based on players who have impressed heavily so far.
Chelsea currently are at the top of the table and they have Silva, Mendy, and Antonio Rudiger in the team of the season.
Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy and Newcastle United’s Allan Saint-Maximin are also included in the list.

Good selection
Gray joined in the summer transfer window for just £1.7m (BBC Sport) from Bayer Leverkusen, and his signing has proven to be a masterstroke.
The former Leicester City attacking midfielder has reignited his career under Rafael Benitez and he has scored three goals already.
Most importantly, even if he is not scoring or providing assists, he is still at the heart of every Everton attack. For instance, he initiated the counter-attacking move that led to the equaliser at Old Trafford before the international break.
Along with Andros Townsend, his pace and driving runs through midfield have made him a fans favourite already.
Likewise, Doucoure has been completely transformed. While he played well under Carlo Ancelotti last season, this term he has been an epitome of consistency and inspiration.
With two goals and four assists, Doucoure has been the engine room for Everton. His passing has been impressive while he has demonstrated an unbelievable work rate.
