Nikola Vlasic issues his verdict on Everton fans
Nikola Vlasic is expecting Goodison Park to be loud on Sunday as he makes his return to Everton.
The 24-year-old joined West Ham in the summer transfer window and revealed to the Hammers’ website exactly what he is expecting to hear from the Evertonians.
The Croatian international signed for the Toffees in the summer of 2017 along with three other attacking midfielders, and he never got a chance to show what he could do.

However, he doesn’t appear to have any grudges and seems to be looking forward to the match.
He said: “I have good memories with Everton, but now I hope I will go there with West Ham and we will win this game.
“It’s always good memories and a good feeling to play there.
“Goodison Park is a difficult place to go. The fans are really loud, and they are helping their all the game, so it’ll be hard for us, but I think all the players here are used to that atmosphere. It’s hard at every away game, so there shouldn’t be any problems with that.”
Interesting comments from Vlasic.
Certainly, it will be intriguing to see what kind of reception he gets from the Goodison faithful on Sunday, given the way he left the club.
It is not as if he forced a move or was a star player, but he was clearly a talented individual who just never got the chance to really show what he can do.
So, we can imagine that the response will be pretty indifferent unless he pops up with the winning goal or something, of course.

Vlasic didn’t do much in his first spell in the Premier League, so it will be fascinating to see how he does this time around with the Hammers once he has settled in.
So far, he has only played in three league games and not started in any of them, so it hasn’t been the greatest of starts to his return to England.
