Paul Merson predicts the result of Everton v Watford
Everton will take on Watford in their Premier League clash on Saturday afternoon at Goodison Park.
Ahead of the clash, Paul Merson has predicted that the Toffees will walk away from the game with a 2-0 victory.
While writing his column for SportsKeeda, the popular football pundit has suggested that he expects the Toffees to register an efficient victory.

Merson, however, is baffled by the appointment of Claudio Ranieri. In his first game in charge, Watford lost 5-0 against Liverpool.
The former Arsenal player has suggested that Ranieri won the league title with Leicester a long time back, and he expects them to lose at Goodison Park.
“Watford are struggling really badly and I must admit I have no idea where Claudio Ranieri’s appointment came from,” wrote Merson.
“I know he is a Premier League winner with Leicester City, but that was a few years ago. They were taught a lesson by Liverpool in Ranieri’s first game in charge and I expect them to lose again this weekend.
“Everton are coming on the back of a bad result at home against West Ham United, but I expect them to record an efficient victory at home.”

Need to bounce back
The Toffees have made a strong start to the season but they need to bounce back to winning ways after losing 1-0 against West Ham in their last game.
Rafael Benitez’s side have picked up just one win in their last four games, but they have been pretty impressive overall.
They are up against Watford who have managed just one win in their last seven games in all competitions. They are in wretched form at the moment, and it’s the perfect time for the Toffees to face them and pick up maximum points from this game.
This week, Everton have been rocked by the news that Dominic Calvert-Lewin could be out for four to five weeks. On top of that, they would be missing the services of Abdoulaye Doucoure as well.
The return of Richarlison, therefore, comes as a massive boost. The Brazilian hasn’t featured in the past few games, but he is likely to be included in the squad for Saturday’s fixture.
In other Everton news, the club has been handed an injury boost with a ‘Fantastic’ player returning to training along with Richarlison
