Everton star Yerry Mina to miss Watford game
Everton are set to be without Yerry Mina this afternoon against Watford in the Premier League.
Rafael Benitez revealed in his press conference on Friday [via Patrick Boyland] that the Toffees would be without the Colombian.
The 27-year-old has suffered a hamstring injury and will not play today, meaning that Everton’s injury problems continue to get worse and worse.
Bad news for the Toffees.
Considering Everton are already without Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Abdoulaye Doucoure, the last thing they needed was yet another injury.
Mina has played in six of the Toffees’ Premier League games, so he seems to be seen as an important player in Benitez’s side.
You could certainly argue that they missed him last week against West Ham as the Hammers’ goal came from a set-piece, which he might have prevented happening.

Now, they will also be without him today, which is a shame, especially as he was described as “impeccable” recently by Marca Claro.
Mina has also fought and battled really well because it had been claimed that Benitez saw him as surplus to requirements, but he has managed to forge a path in this Toffees side [Sport].
For that, he deserves great credit, and we hope that he makes a swift return to the Everton side when he recovers from this injury.
In the meantime, the Toffees will have to manage without Mina and hope that they have enough to see off Watford.
