Everton in pursuit of Sassuolo attacker Filip Djuricic
Everton are among the clubs who are interested in signing Sassuolo attacker Filip Djuricic, according to CalcioMercato.
The Italian news outlet claims West Ham and Southampton are also in the hunt to sign the 29-year-old Serbia international.
Djuricic’s contract at Sassuolo expires next year and he’s scored two goals and supplied one assist in nine Serie A appearances this season.

Everton’s Financial Fair Play issues are bound to have improved after James Rodriguez left but we doubt that the problems will have allayed so much that Rafa Benitez can afford a major splurge in January.
Benitez’s squad is far from the finished product and there are still a lot of players in his team that you would count as deadwood.
In order to sign good players for a transfer fee, that deadwood needs to be shifted on or someone of value in the first-team needs to be sold.
We don’t want to see anyone like Dominic Calvert-Lewin or Richarlison sold in order for us to make new signings so for now, we’re going to have to be happy with bargain hunting.
Djuricic is likely to be a bargain buy if he’s available in January.
The former Southampton loanee will be 30 before the next transfer window closes and is going to be available on a free next summer so that means he’s unlikely to be valued that highly in January.
Djuricic is versatile and can play on both wings or as an attacking midfielder so he could be a handy addition to Benitez’s squad if Marcel Brands makes a move.
