Yerry Mina yet to return to full training ahead of Everton v Wolves clash
Yerry Mina is an injury doubt for Monday’s trip to Wolves as the Colombian centre-back is still yet to return to full Everton training, according to El Bobble.
The reliable Everton insider – followed on Twitter by The Times journalist Paul Joyce – shared the update via his personal Twitter profile on Thursday evening.
He wrote: “Everton’s Yerry Mina is a doubt for Monday’s trip to Wolves. Mina picked up a hamstring injury at Finch Farm, after returning from international duty, and is still yet to return to full training.”
More misery for Benitez
After successive Goodison Park defeats against West Ham and Watford, Rafa Benitez was surely hoping for some good news to emerge this week ahead of a big test at Wolves on Monday.
However, the early signs are that he will have to make do without Mina once more as the 27-year-old battles with a hamstring injury.
The Colombia international was rooted to the bench for the 1-0 loss to West Ham on October 17 after playing for his national team in Barranquilla just two days prior.
That was thought to be a cautious step to avoid injury, but he then missed the 5-2 defeat to lowly Watford last Saturday, and the full picture has since emerged.

Evidently, the Blues have missed Mina’s presence in central defence, shipping a whopping six goals without him in the side.
Mina’s last five games for club and country have seen him keep four clean sheets, and he has been Everton’s best defender this season.
But the Blues look set to face the troublesome trio of Adama Traore, Raul Jimenez and Hwang Hee-chan without Mina at Molineux on Monday, and that will strike fear into supporters of the Blues.
In other Everton news, the Blues have made contact over this striker that Pep Guardiola called ‘Incredible’, and a January transfer is on the cards.
