Everton have been linked with a move for AS Monaco midfielder Aleksandr Golovin this week.
According to reports from the Russian media outlet Championat, the Toffees are seriously interested in signing the Monaco midfielder.
The 25-year-old is a versatile player who can play as an attacking midfielder or as a winger. He has made 43 appearances for the Russian senior team.
Rafael Benitez needs to sign a creative midfielder, either in January or next summer, following the departure of James Rodriguez.
At the moment, Everton have players who are at best industrious, and a genuine creative attacking midfielder is missing from his side.
Golovin is an experienced midfielder who has made over 100 appearances for Monaco. He has scored 16 goals in all competitions for the French outfit.
The Toffees fans are unanimous in the opinion that Everton must go for him, with one fan suggesting that he would add quality in midfield.
