Everton defender Yerry Mina not spotted in training ahead of Tottenham Hotspur game
Everton are likely to be without Yerry Mina’s services for Sunday’s game against Tottenham Hotspur, according to The Liverpool Echo.
Per the report, he is yet to return to full training as he wasn’t spotted in training with the rest of the group on Thursday.
He picked up a hamstring injury at Finch Farm and hasn’t been available since the last international break.

Defensive shambles
Without Mina, this defence has looked all over the place this season and it is hard to explain why.
Ben Godfrey, who’s been such a solid performer since his move to Goodison Park, does not appear to be the same player since he contracted Covid-19.
Michael Keane’s errors seemed to have increased and he’s no longer a reliable option for the manager while Mason Holgate is also not good enough to be a regular starter.
Mina, who has been labelled “impeccable” recently by Marca Claro, is a big miss and Rafa Benitez must be frustrated without him in the side.

Not only is he terrific individually, he’s also someone who makes other players around him look better.
However, it looks unlikely that Benitez will have him back before the international break and he will have to make do with a makeshift pairing of Godfrey and Keane.
