Kevin Campbell shares new manager bounce verdict on Antonio Conte ahead of Everton v Spurs
We’re delighted to welcome former Everton striker Kevin Campbell as our exclusive columnist. Each week the former Toffees captain will be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Goodison Park…
Kevin Campbell has insisted that there is no guarantee that Spurs will get a “new manager” bounce from Antonio Conte against Everton.
The Toffees welcome the Italian back to the Premier League on Sunday afternoon, with both sides desperate for three points.
Campbell admitted that Everton need to ignore anything coming from the Spurs camp, insisting they need to get their own house in order.

Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Campbell said, “Listen, at the end of the day, Everton need to get their own house in order.
“Everton are at home, so it’s a winnable game, that’s for sure. Who’s to say that the new manager bounce will happen automatically? We don’t know.
“Everton need to turn up and do the business.”

Forget Conte.
Looking at Spurs against Vitesse on Thursday, not much has changed.
Having said that, Conte has only been in the job for fewer than a week and it is hard to get anything across to a squad in that time period.
Spurs were picked apart by a small Dutch side at times in the European Conference League, and that has to be used as a motivation here.
Imagine what the likes of Eric Dier could do when jeered by a packed Goodison Park? He could crumble just as his teammates could.
Three points are critical at this stage – the last manager to beat Conte in the Premier League? Rafa Benitez.
In other Everton news, this Toffees defender is being watched very close with a major exit on the cards
