Kevin Campbell has been thrilled by the Everton return of Fabian Delph in the Premier League over the past month.

The midfielder has struggled with numerous injury problems at Goodison Park but has finally reached full fitness.

Rafa Benitez handed Delph a start against Spurs, and Campbell was blown away by the impact he has made on the squad.

Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Campbell said, “He came on at half-time against Wolves and made a real difference.

“He was dictating the tempo, and he is an experienced player. You’ve got to give credit where credit is due, he’s had injuries but he’s a Premier League winner – he knows the game, knows the league.

“I thought he’s done pretty well since coming back in.”

Needed.

The likes of Andre Gomes and Tom Davies simply haven’t been able to offer what Delph has in the middle of the park.

Allan has been isolated in recent weeks and has struggled without Abdoulaye Doucoure alongside him.

The Frenchman is still out injured and is expected back before the end of November, meaning it could still be two weeks out.

Delph has been given the perfect chance to prove himself for more minutes under Benitez, and the first signs are very positive moving forward.
