This is part of a regular series from our panel of Everton Super Fans. Each week, Super Fans from our Goodison News Facebook page will deliver their verdicts on the biggest talking points and news stories around Goodison Park.
Everton Super Fans have been reacting to the news that Danny Donachie has left his role as head of medical services after a review by Rafa Benitez.
The Athletic reported earlier this week that Donachie had been relieved of his duties and he appeared to confirm his departure via his personal Twitter profile on Thursday [11/11/21].
He wrote: “Too many lifelong friends to mention. You know who you are. I have been inspired by all of you time after time. My spirit will never be the same. What an incredible privilege to have been a custodian of this great club for so long. Separated by distance but never heart.”
We asked our panel of Everton Super Fans for their thoughts on Donachie’s Finch Farm exit.
Heres’s what they had to say…

All change?
Benitez looks to be beginning to stamp his authority at the club, and who can blame him.
Everton are a club that have had numerous issues behind-the-scenes for a long time, and there have been concerns that they either pick up too many injuries or players are out for longer than they should be.
Of course, whether that’s actually the fault of one individual, a team of people or just rotten luck, Blues have been calling for changes to the backroom staff for a while now.
Technical expertise aside, Donachie was clearly a popular member of staff at Everton with his recent tweets showing a selfie of him and Yerry Mina and exchanging messages with the likes of Phil Neville, so the Blues will be losing a big character around the dressing room.
In other Everton news, a 2021 title-winning club have lined up a seven-figure deal for this big-money Blues international with contract terms set.
