Everton want Donny van de Beek in January

Everton want to try again and sign Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek on loan in January, according to a new report.

ESPN claim that the Toffees and Newcastle United will battle it out for van de Beek’s signature, and the player is keen to try and leave Manchester United in January.

The Toffees tried and failed with a late move for the Dutchman in the summer transfer window, but it seems as if they are more than prepared to come back in for the former Ajax man.

Van de Beek has made just two league appearances for the Red Devils this season, totalling just 16 minutes on the pitch, so it is no surprise that he wants out.

Could be an easy deal to complete.

It seems as if the Toffees’ interest in van de Beek hasn’t gone anywhere, and you would think this should be an easy deal to complete.

Everton aren’t in a relegation battle and could guarantee the Dutchman game time as he looks to recover from his poor start in England.

However, he has been described as “excellent” by Paul Scholes in the past [BT Sport via TF].

For whatever reason, van de Beek is not in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s plans, and a loan to Goodison Park makes a lot of sense, especially as the player wants out.

It seems pretty clear that he won’t be in Solskjaer’s plans no matter what he does, so a move to Everton makes perfect sense for everyone.

His arrival could really push the Toffees on and help them achieve their goals this season.

Therefore, this has to be a transfer for Toffees fans to watch out for and hopefully, they can complete the deal.
