Everton killed Kylian Mbappe’s move to Real Madrid
Everton’s refusal to allow Richarlison to join PSG killed Real Madrid’s summer move for Kylian Mbappe, according to a new report.
El Espanol claim that had the Toffees allowed the Brazilian to move to Paris, Mbappe would already be at Real.
However, he isn’t, and this report lays the blame squarely at the Toffees’ door, which is a bit odd.

Surely, if PSG were that willing to let Mbappe move to Spain, they would have had more than just Richarlison on their list of replacements?
Ridiculous claim.
Mbappe is world-class and helped France to win the World Cup with five goals during the 2018 tournament.
He is incredible, and his goalscoring record speaks for itself.
Richarlison is older than Mbappe and has a worse goalscoring record, so if PSG’s grand plan to replace one of the world’s best players was Richarlison, then you have to question that solution.
The 24-year-old is a fantastic Premier League player, and he could and should get better but is he Champions League level? You would have to say that he isn’t, and he isn’t even close to Mbappe.

He has been described as “fantastic” by Carlo Ancelotti in the past, and we want him to remain at Goodison Park [Sports Mole].
However, the suggestion that the Toffees killed the Mbappe deal is pretty ridiculous, to be honest.
There must have been something else involved because usually, if Real want a player, they get that player no matter what.
So we will have to see what happens next summer, but we would be surprised if Everton have any influence on Mbappe’s next club.
In other Everton news, the Toffees have had a look at a new striker ahead of the January transfer window.
