Everton Super Fans are reacting to the news that Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly eyeing a move to sign Jordan Pickford next summer.

According to reports from The Telegraph, Spurs boss Antonio Conte wants to sign a ‘high profile’ keeper next summer to replace Hugo Lloris, and he has earmarked Pickford for that role.

The 27-year-old is Everton’s first-choice goalkeeper and he is the #1 shot-stopper for England as well.

The report claimed that Conte wants to sign a British goalkeeper and finds Pickford as someone who fits the bill.

Pickford joined Everton in 2017 from Sunderland for a fee of around £25 million.

He has two years remaining on his deal at the club, and Everton would be expected to demand a huge transfer fee for him, should they decide to cash in on him.

We asked our panel of Everton Super Fans for their thoughts on the transfer rumour. Here’s what they had to say:

Pickford is happy at the club and there’s no reason for Everton to sell him.

Unless Spurs come up with a really good offer, it is hard to see Pickford leaving the club any time soon.

However, as one fan rightly puts it, everything depends on the price. Pickford will fetch a good profit for the club, and there are some good goalkeepers out there who could fill his void.

Dean Henderson has been struggling for games at Manchester United and he could be a good option. But, the first preference will be to keep hold of the England stopper for a long period.
