Rondon walked off after final whistle in 3-0 loss to Manchester City
Everton striker Salomon Rondon was in no mood to applaud the fans after Sunday’s 3-0 loss to Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
According to Liverpool Echo journalist Sam Carroll, the Venezuelan did not join the eight others who went over to the travelling fans at the end of the game, walking down the tunnel instead.
Rodon came on for Fabian Delph in the 63rd minute, but he was unable to inspire proceedings, and he was not a happy man afterwards from the look of things.

Carroll posted the incident on his personal Twitter account after the game.
He said: “Salomon Rondon walks straight off down the tunnel.
“Not even a wave to the travelling fans.
“Michael Keane, Seamus Coleman, Lucas Digne, Tyler Onyango, Anthony Gordon, Ben Godfrey, Andros Townsend and Jordan Pickford went over to applaud. The rest walk off.”
No class
Rondon was not the only player who felt gutted by the defeat, and he should have shown a little bit of class like the others by going over to the away end and acknowledging the travelling fans.
While the fact that he is struggling to deliver is earning him stick from some Everton supporters, failing to acknowledge them on Sunday will not do him any favours.
The Toffees faithful pay their hard-earned money for matchday tickets, and they deserve to be recognised for travelling all the way for the game.
It would not have cost Rondon anything to do that, and given his experience, one would expect him to know more.

With Richarlison suspended for next weekend’s clash with Brentford, the former West Brom man will most likely lead the line.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin remains out, while Demarai Gray picked up a knock very early into the clash.
Everton will be relying on Rondon to deliver the goods against the London team, and it would be a good time to finally open his account and lead the team to a much-needed victory.
In other Everton news, the Toffees are plotting January loan-to-buy bid for centre-mid hailed by Jack Grealish last month.
