Everton Super Fans are reacting to the news the Toffees are being linked with a move for Jesse Lingard.

According to a recent report from ESPN, Everton have joined the long list of clubs that are keen to sign Lingard from Manchester United.

Lingard has a contract at the club till the end of the season and reports emerged this week that he won’t be signing a new deal at the club.

West Ham

He will be a free agent next summer but several clubs will try to sign him on a cut-price deal in January. He personally prefers to leave in January either on loan or on a permanent deal to boost his chances of playing for the national team.

A host of clubs including West Ham, Newcastle and Tottenham are keen to sign him, and it seems Benitez is also willing to take a punt on him.

Everton should be looking to sign a striker in January, but a versatile attacking midfielder would also be a welcome addition.

Lingard is capable of playing across all positions and has an eye for goal. At 28, he is at that phase of his career where he should be playing at the peak of his form.

All he needs is regular games, and Benitez can provide him with that opportunity.

He is an experienced Premier League winger and would be available on a cut-price deal.

We asked our panel of Everton Super Fans for their thoughts on the Lingard transfer link.
