Everton staff have had to warn Salomon Rondon to take days off to recover
Everton striker Salomon Rondon has thrown himself into a hard-hitting new training regime, according to Sportsmail.
The 32-year-old Venezuelan international wants to hit peak form having struggled since joining the Toffees in the summer, and he has been doing some boxing, spinning and extra cardio work in a bid to start firing on all cylinders.
Rondon’s training regime has impressed Everton coaching staff so much that they have had to warn him he must take days off to recover.

He has also been working on his own at home as he looks to hit the right levels and win over the club supporters.
Hardworking
Rondon has featured in eight Premier League games since joining the Blues as a free agent on transfer deadline day, but he is yet to score or assist.
With Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison set to miss out on the trip to Brentford, the former West Bromwich Albion hitman is expected to lead the line for Rafa Benitez’s side.
He has snubbed international duties this season just to continue training at Finch Farm after missing pre-season preparations, and he could soon be getting back to the perfect condition given the hard work he has been putting in behind the scenes.

Everton fans have been disappointed with what they have seen from him so far, but Benitez knows exactly what Rondon is capable of doing and will continue to back him.
The Toffees have struggled in the absence of Calvert-Lewin, and they will be hoping to halt their woeful run of form against the Bees on Sunday.
They will need their attack to perform well, and if the South American can help lead them to a much-needed win, he would start worming his way into the hearts of the fans.
In other Everton news, the Toffees are plotting January loan-to-buy bid for centre-mid hailed by Jack Grealish last month.
