Everton want to sign Jesse Lingard on free transfer
Everton are among the host of clubs keen to sign Jesse Lingard from Manchester United, according to reports from The Telegraph.
The report claims that Lingard is likely to leave the club at the end of the season, and Everton want to sign him on a free transfer.
However, the Toffees are not the only club vying for his signature. The likes of Newcastle, AC Milan and West Ham are also in the hunt.

Should bid for him in January
Lingard has dropped down the pecking order at United and he has hardly featured for the Red Devils this season.
The 28-year-old impressed heavily last season on loan, and teased the West Ham fans by posting a picture of him in the Hammers shirt on Instagram recently.
It has been reported [90min] that he doesn’t want to extend his stay at the club beyond the season.

Lingard preferably wants to move in January to boost his chances of playing regularly, but it seems clubs are only interested in taking him on a free transfer.
Everton should make a move for him in January. Rafa Benitez could be operating on a tight budget once again, but the Toffees board must back him with funds to bring Lingard to Goodison Park.
He has got a wealth of Premier League experience and has an eye for goal. The England international has been hailed as “amazing” by Rio Ferdinand, and the Toffees must not miss out on him.
