Everton confirmed XI v Brentford: Rondon leads the line
Salomon Rondon comes in for the suspended Richarlison to lead the line for Everton v Brentford on Sunday in the Premier League.
The Venezuelan has barely featured under Rafa Benitez this season and will be looking to end the Toffees’ wretched run of form in front of goal.
Signed as a free agent in the summer, Rondon is still to get his act together for the Goodison Park outfit.
Abdoulaye Doucoure and Demarai Gray were both fitness doubts for this one and the latter has not made the playing eleven.
Alex Iwobi makes way for Gray with Doucoure and Rondon the other two changes.
Must win
Everton desperately need to pick up the three points here and Brentford are the perfect side to face.
Despite their good start to the season, in terms of quality, the Toffees deserve to win this one comfortably, regardless of their injury concerns.
The Bees have punched above their weight but that is not likely to go on for too long.
If Benitez wants to turn this season around, this is the ideal game for him to start doing so.

Hopefully, Rondon channels his peak Newcastle form today as he’s one of the Toffees’ few goal-scoring threats.
Thomas Frank’s players are going to play on the counter-attack so it’s important that the Spaniard keeps his side tight and doesn’t allow any room for error.
In other Everton news, a football finance expert has claimed that the Toffees may face an exodus after their £266m outlay
