Everton fans voiced their frustration at their players after Brentford defeat
Everton lost 1-0 against Brentford in the Premier League clash on Sunday.
A section of the travelling supports has made themselves very clear at the away end that such performances are simply unacceptable.
According to Sky Sports journalist, Ben Grounds, the Toffees fans have voiced their “frustrations at their players” after the game.

Grounds wrote on Twitter: “Hey Jude plays out as the Everton fans voice their frustrations at their players amid a light show. Take a poor team and make it better. That’s the message to Benitez. Furious and well might they be. When the lights come up, things aren’t any better.”
Spot on
Yes, the situation is hardly ideal.
Everton are losing several key players through injuries and the squad is lacking in overall quality.
The recent results have been poor, with the Toffees failing to win in their last seven games, losing five of them.
However, that’s the job of Benitez – to make the poor squad better.

He cannot simply put the entire blame on injuries to hide his failures.
The Spaniard feels that the players have given everything on the pitch, but that was not the case.
Things aren’t getting any better and some of the decisions of the manager are highly questionable.
Benitez said after the game that he saw togetherness among the players and that he is hopeful that the situation will improve if they can be more precise with their shots on target.
Another interesting point highlighted by the Toffees boss is the lack of connection between the players and the fans, suggesting the bond wasn’t great last season, and that it was better at the start of this campaign when the results were going their way.
There is a lack of quality in the squad and the frustration among the fans is understandable.
Everton face Liverpool in their next Premier League clash on Wednesday.
