Rafa Benitez likely to hand Everton youngster Ellis Simms start v Liverpool
Everton could start young striker Ellis Simms for the game against Liverpool on Wednesday, according to a report in the Guardian.
Their journalist Sachin Nakrani claims that Rafa Benitez may even switch to a 4-3-3 and ditch the 4-4-1-1 he’s used prevalently since taking over the reins at Goodison Park.
The Spaniard is walking on thin ice at the moment, and a win in the Merseyside derby could go a long way towards silencing his critics.

Good move?
Salomon Rondon came in for the suspended Richarlison against Brentford and had a disappointing outing.
Thus far, he’s done very little to prove why he was brought to Merseyside by Benitez.
With the Brazilian coming back vs Liverpool, he should be thrown into the eleven for sure, but Simms could add a different dynamic.
At the moment, Everton’s attack looks extremely predictable and adding the 20-year-old to the mix can help create some havoc in the Liverpool back line.

Demarai Gray was on the bench for the weekend loss and he too should be coming back to the side, and hopefully, the players do not have any injury concerns until the game.
We know that beating Liverpool is a long shot, but Benitez has to try something different as his current tactics are not working.
