Sam Matterface claims he has heard bad things about Everton star Richarlison
Sam Matterface claims that he has heard that Everton star Richarlison is “stroppy” in a conversation on talkSPORT.
Speaking after the Toffees’ 1-0 defeat to Brentford in west London, the talkSPORT commentator was asked about Richarlison, and he criticised the Brazilian.
He also hinted that he doesn’t perhaps have the best attitude at Finch Farm, and to be fair; he hasn’t done that much this season, even when considering the injury he has had.
Matterface said: “Richarlison [has] had a really bad season.
“Stroppy apparently, from what I heard last week.”
Richarlison slammed.
The 24-year-old missed four games earlier in the season because of injury, but despite that, he has still managed to pick up five yellow cards this season.
Now, that doesn’t necessarily mean that is an indication of him being stroppy, but it does suggest that he is easily frustrated, which could become a problem for the Toffees going forward.
Matterface is right though, the Brazilian hasn’t been that good all season, and even when he has played, he hasn’t done that much.

Certainly, not compared to his impact in previous campaigns in which he has regularly contributed goals but also impressive displays in which he has stood out.
Even when he has scored this season, he hasn’t actually played that well. So, though it is just a claim from Matterface, there might be more to it, and it will be intriguing to see if anything more comes from this comment.
