Farhad Moshiri and Alisher Usmanovnot considering Everton sale
Farhad Moshiri is not looking to sell his Everton stake, according to reports from Liverpool Echo journalist Phil Kirkbride.
Broadcaster Richard Keys claimed in his blog this week (29 November) that the Merseyside club is “available for purchase” and that his friend has been offered the club “for £500m”.
Keys claims that Moshiri is looking to leave the club and his 93,698 shares are available to buy.

However, Kirkbride strongly refutes such claims.
He said: “Sources close to Moshiri have rubbished suggestions he is looking to leave the Blues and that he has made his 93,698 shares available to buy.”
Unlikely
Key also made a bold claim that Alisher Usmanov doesn’t want to put money into the club. However, the Echo find there’s no truth in such claims.
Moshiri, who owns 92.16% of shares, is firmly committed to Everton. He sees Everton club as a long-term project and has already poured around £100m for the new stadium on the dock site.
There’s no doubt that Moshiri has invested a lot of money into the squad, but under his regime, the signings have been very poor.
Everton are now facing its consequence, with Rafa Benitez managing to spend less than £2million in the summer transfer window, and there’s no guarantee that he will be given a huge fund to add quality players in January.
The squad needs reinforcement. The Toffees need to sell a host of fringe players but they probably won’t be able to coup even half the money from their sales.
Having said that, it is unlikely that Moshiri will leave the club at the moment, but he might consider selling it once the stadium project gets completed.
In other Everton news, a new name has emerged as a potential Rafa Benitez successor with the Blues plotting a move for this Portuguese manager.
