Everton confirm starting XI v Arsenal
Everton have confirmed their starting XI for this evening’s game against Arsenal in the Premier League.
The Toffees have failed to win in their last eight games, and Rafael Benitez has made two changes from the side that lost 4-1 to Liverpool on Wednesday [01 December].
Jordan Pickford starts in goal.
The back four in front of him consists of Seamus Coleman, Michael Keane, Ben Godfrey and Yerry Mina.
Abdoulaye Doucoure and Allan partner each other in the centre of midfield.
Demarai Gray, Andros Townsend and Anthony Gordon start in behind Richarlison.
About as strong as Benitez could have picked.
This is probably the strongest side that Benitez could have picked, given the circumstances, as he is still without Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Instead, the bench consists of Cenk Tosun, Alex Iwobi, Andre Gomes, and then players such as Mason Holgate.
So, not the strongest bench but hopefully, the Toffees can turn in a big display and seal a huge three points, which would move them away from the relegation zone.

If they lose again, then Crystal Palace next week becomes even more important for the Toffees.
Ultimately, players are starting to return now, but they are still without two key men.
If they can just about scrape enough points until those two return, you would think things should dramatically improve for Everton in the next weeks and months.
This will be a tricky game, but the Toffees have what it takes to get a big win.
