The Brazilian wrote on Twitter: “I’m learning! Thanks for being patient.”

Much needed win

Richarlison has been frequently linked with a move away from Everton, but he seems pretty focused on the job at hand.

The victory against Arsenal will lift confidence among the Everton players in the dressing room.

After being thumped 4-1 by Liverpool, and Marcel Brands resigning from his post amid fan-fury, the Toffees came up with a solid performance.

The fans will be happy with the improved display as also the resilience shown by the team.

Richarlison levelled the score 11 minutes from normal time, while Demarai Gray pulled off a stunner in the dying seconds of the game to seal all three points for the home side.

Richarlison, 24, was in fantastic touch against the Gunners and also had two goals ruled out for offside by the video assistant referee.

After a barren run of results, Everton should now aim to build strong momentum. The victory lifts them to 12th in the league, while it also vindicated Benitez’s views that the Toffees would get better once injured players returned.

In other Everton news, the Toffees are plotting January loan-to-buy bid for centre-mid hailed by Jack Grealish last month.
