Carlo Ancelotti set to return for Everton star Richarlison as £48.7m Real Madrid deal mooted
Carlo Ancelotti wants Real Madrid to raid his former club Everton and sign Brazil star Richarlison, according to Diario Gol.
The Spanish news outlet claims Richarlison, 24, has been recommended to the Real board again by the three-time Champions League-winning manager after his summer request was ignored by president Florentino Perez.
He is seen as a “very serious option” to improve the squad, with an approximate price of £48.7million mooted to complete the deal. That would make it Everton’s third-most expensive sale of all time [Transfermarkt], after Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United (£76.2million) and John Stones to Manchester City (£50million).

Derisory
Richarlison’s contract at Everton runs until June 2024 [Transfermarkt], so the forward still has over two-and-a-half years left.
However, if Richarlison does not want to sign a new contract to extend his stay at Goodison Park, then next summer is when the Blues need to cash in.
After that, his price will greatly deteriorate once he enters his final 18 months at the club.
It does seem likely that 2022 is when Richarlison will close the curtain on his career at Everton, with PSG heavily linked during last summer, as well as Real.

However, while a sale looks likely, £48.7million, or a fee anything around that, is way too low for someone of Richarlison’s quality.
Given the vast sums of money other players are leaving for nowadays, the Brazil international should be fetching north of £60million.
£60-70million sounds realistic when considering the potential negatives of his situation as well – the sounds are that he wants to leave and, with Everton seemingly unlikely to qualify for Europe, their hand is weakened.
In other Everton news, the Blues made an approach on Thursday to sign this ‘Awesome’ Gary Lineker-hailed ace.
