Richard Keys urges Everton to appoint Wayne Rooney as manager
Everton manager Rafa Benitez is under mounting pressure at Goodison Park, and Wayne Rooney has been linked with taking over from the Spaniard.
Richard Keys reckons that the Derby County boss would be perfect for the job, insisting the Toffees must make the move right now while reacting on his personal Twitter account.
Everton have won just one of their last 10 Premier League games, losing seven, and majority of the fans want Benitez out having been against his appointment in the first place.

The beIN SPORT man said: “Now you’re talking.
“Get someone like Wayne Rooney in who understands the club and will get players wanting to wear the jersey again – before it’s too late and Finch Farm becomes entirely Spanish.
“It’ll cost a fortune to unravel then.”
Good move?
The former Liverpool boss is never going to be completely able to win the Toffees fans over given his past links with the Reds, and it is safe to say that his days at Goodison Park are numbered.
However, could Rooney be the solution to Everton woes?
Farhad Moshiri has appointed five managers since taking over the club in 2016, with around £500million spent on transfers.
The current injury-ravaged squad is not good enough to challenge for Europe, and even the best managers in the game right would struggle to get something out of these players.

However, the fans want and deserve more, and with Benitez starting to fall out with some of his players, it is believed a new manager could be best for the club.
Rooney graduated from the club’s academy and did return to play for them after an illustrious career with Manchester United, and he would be warmly welcomed back by the Everton faithful should he be appointed as their next manager.
