Dynamo Kyiv identify Vitaliy Mykolenko replacement as Ukraine star on brink of Everton switch
Dynamo Kyiv have already identified a replacement for left-back Vitaliy Mykolenko as he closes in on a move to Everton, according to Footballua.tv.
Mykolenko, 22, is said to be “close” to joining Everton, with various news outlets from Ukraine and Romania recently reporting that a deal is all but done.
If the defender does indeed depart for England, Kyiv, who won the Ukrainian Premier League last season, will bring Vladyslav Dubinchak back from his loan spell at Dnipro-1, as per Footballua.tv‘s report.

All set
The noises are that Everton’s bid to sign Mykolenko is all but wrapped up and all that needs to be done now is for the respective clubs to announce it.
Indeed, Kyiv appear to have a replacement lined up from within the club as Dubinchak prepares to return from his loan spell and establish himself at the Ukrainian giants in the wake of Mykolenko’s exit to Everton.
With Kyiv having a ready-made replacement, one they do not need to go out and spend money on, this should be a fairly simple transaction for the Blues to complete, and there shouldn’t be any sort of saga that develops.
Of course, there are potential third-party problems that can crop up such as agent demands, but going by the latest reports, it seems the Blues are on the verge of signing Mykolenko in what looks set to be their first major signing of the January transfer window.
Whether that’s their last, though, remains to be seen.
In other Everton news, Wayne Rooney shared if he had held talks with the Blues over the manager’s job on Thursday afternoon.
