Everton ace Dominic Calvert-Lewin could feature against Burnley
Everton ace Dominic Calvert-Lewin could feature against Burnley at Turf Moor on Boxing Day, according to El Bobble.
The Toffees insider – followed on Twitter by The Times journalist Paul Joyce – posted the update on their account on Monday (20 December) evening, and it comes as a potential massive boost.
The England international striker has played just three Premier League games in 2021-22, and he is now set to return to action as the Finch Farm update emerges.

El Bobble said: “Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin is in contention to be included in the squad for Everton’s trip to Burnley on Boxing Day.
“Calvert-Lewin is training with the team and is feeling no discomfort from his injury.
“The club’s medical team will make a final decision nearer Sunday.”
Massive
Being without the 24-year-old for 14 league games has not done Rafa Benitez any good.
The Goodison Park outfit have won just three and drawn three of the matches he has missed, losing the others, and they surely cannot wait to have him back.
Calvert-Lewin will likely not be able to start against the Clarets, but he could see some minutes of action and that will be a massive Christmas gift for the fans.
Salomon Rondon, Richarlison and Demarai Gray have all played upfront in his absence, but none of them have been able to make a similar impact like him.

Benitez brought in Gray and Andros Townsend in the summer so they can provide DCL with crosses, and that has not been possible since he was sidelined.
He has three goals to his name despite making just three appearances in 2021-22, and having him back for the last two games of the calendar year would be massive a boost.
The Toffees host Newcastle United on 30 December, and after picking up four points in their last three games, winning their next two is possible, especially if their hitman features and hits the ground running.
In other Everton news, the Toffees are plotting January loan-to-buy bid for centre-mid hailed by Jack Grealish last month.
