Napoli join the race for Everton left-back Lucas Digne
Napoli are interested in snapping up Everton left-back Lucas Digne in January, according to French outlet Foot Mercato.
The 43-cap France international, 28, has missed the Toffees last three games, and the report claims that his situation has become untenable since his relationship with Rafa Benitez reached a point of no return.
Digne is expected to leave Goodison Park next month, with Vitaliy Mykolenko arriving soon from Dynamo Kiev to take his place, and a move to Napoli could be on the cards.

Not surprising
The former Barcelona left-back has been linked with a lot of clubs over the last few days, and more names will definitely emerge going forward.
Napoli are interested in Digne as they look to mount a strong title challenge in the Serie A in 2021-22, and they are keen to strengthen their defence ahead of the second half of the campaign.
The Frenchman is not short of suitors, and he will be the one to choose his next club from the look of things.
Benitez’s style of play has not allowed him to be fully able to express his attacking side, and an exit will be good for both parties.

The chance to join a side challenging for major silverware and playing in Europe right now is definitely appealing, and Everton now have to make the most of the situation and get a decent fee for his services.
They will need to make a couple of quality additions next month, and with Financial Fair Play still an issue, cashing in on Digne would come in handy.
In other Everton news, the Toffees are plotting January loan-to-buy bid for centre-mid hailed by Jack Grealish last month.
