Kevin Campbell: Everton set for more than £20million when selling Lucas Digne
We’re delighted to welcome former Everton striker Kevin Campbell as our exclusive columnist. Each week the former Toffees captain will be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Goodison Park…
Kevin Campbell has insisted that Everton will receive more than £20million for Lucas Digne if he is sold in January.
The ex-Toffees talisman admitted that the “writing is on the wall” for the French international at Goodison Park.
Campbell shared that Rafa Benitez will now start to build and mould his side after the exit of Marcel Brands in recent weeks.

“I think Rafa Benitez is in that position that he has got to move and shape the squad,” he exclusively told Goodison News.
“The writing is on the wall, the manager and player don’t see eye-to-eye in some instances, so in order to generate funds, sometimes there have to be some casualties.
“So, that’s what Benitez is going to do – Digne is going to be the one going out and Mykolenko is coming in, let’s see how he does.
“You definitively get more than £20million [for Digne].”

Writing on the wall.
It was reported by Alfredo Pedulla that Digne is all but set to leave next month and has four offers to do.
Inter Milan are said to be one of those teams, and getting Digne out of the Premier League to a European club will be the best way to move on and forget.
Benitez clearly didn’t get along with the Frenchman and it looks as though the manager is going to get his own way next month.
One positive is the imminent arrival of Mykolenko, who hopefully hits the ground running and becomes a new hero – fingers crossed.
