Lucas Digne wants to leave Everton in January, four offers on table

Big-name Everton player Lucas Digne wants to leave Goodison Park in the upcoming January transfer window.

That’s according to Alfredo Pedulla, who reports that there are four offers on the table for the Frenchman at this moment in time.

The Toffees are set to bring in Vitaly Mykolenko next week, with an exit for Digne inevitable for the past month now.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Pedulla shared the latest as we draw closer to the window opening in Europe.

“Digne wants to leave Everton,” he wrote.

“It has four offers, confirmations on the satisfaction, Inter as told two days ago.”

No shock.

We have seen talks of a major rift between Rafa Benitez and Digne for the past month now, and that has led to him being ignored in selections.

Everyone expected the defender to leave, but this is the first we have seen where his desire to move on has been shared surprisingly.

With four offers on the table, the Toffees will be confident of recouping the £18million they spent on Digne, something that is key.

Mykolenko is set to cover the gap left, and the Ukrainian has a brilliant chance to make that spot his own with zero competition at Goodison Park.

It is good to see the club move quickly to get this one done, and by the looks of it, we will be lucky to have Digne for more than two weeks – time to go and move on.
