Everton offered Ross Barkley, agent pushing for a move
Everton have been offered the chance to sign Ross Barkley in the January transfer window.
The Telegraph reported yesterday (28 December) that the Toffees are keeping tabs on their former player to sign him on loan.
And according to reliable Everton Insider, El Bobble, Barkley has been offered to several clubs including Everton.

They add that the player’s agent is pushing for a move for the England international in January. The Bobble wrote on Twitter [28 December]:
“Ross Barkley’s agent is again, actively pushing a move for his client. Everton are once more, one of the clubs who have been offered his services.”
Unlikely
Barkley was loved by Everton fans but his acrimonious departure four years ago has tarnished his cult-hero status at the club.
The 28-year-old has struggled miserably at Chelsea, and he has dropped down the pecking order under Thomas Tuchel.
He has just started in one league game in 2021-22, and the club are open to letting him go.

For a brief period, Barkley looked to have rediscovered his form when he was at Aston Villa, on loan from Chelsea.
He was “outstanding” in the opening few games under Dean Smith but soon lost his way, with injuries playing a part.
On paper, a loan deal for him looks like a decent business, but will the fans accept him back at Goodison?
Recurrent injuries and loss of form have hampered his progress, but he could reignite his career back at his old club.
At the moment, it seems, his agent is desperately trying to get him away from Chelsea, and as such, there’s no concrete interest from the Toffees.
Everton are expected to operate on a tight budget in the winter transfer window, and they could be looking at the loan market. Still, Barkley moving to Goodison looks unlikely.
