Kevin Campbell backs Everton loanee Nathan Broadhead to bounce back from injury
We’re delighted to welcome former Everton striker Kevin Campbell as our exclusive columnist. Each week the former Toffees captain will be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Goodison Park…
Kevin Campbell has backed Everton loanee, Nathan Broadhead, to bounce back quickly from his horror injury.
The ex-Toffees talisman has insisted that the Welsh youth international will be back available to help the Black Cats’ promotion bid this season.
Currently, on loan at Sunderland, the young attacker has been ruled out for up to three months by current manager Lee Johnson.

“It’s a blow,” he exclusively told Goodison News.
“It’s not the end of the world, but it’s a blow because he was doing really well at Sunderland. Obviously, he scored at the Emirates the other day in the cup.
“He’ll bounce back, these youngsters are quick healers, usually, and I’m sure three months, he can still get back to try and help them get promotion.”

Silver lining.
Johnson admitted that surgeons are assessing the forward and that it could actually end his season if bad enough.
Campbell insisting that younger players heal quicker and will be back before the end of the campaign would be huge.
The striker has been in brilliant form, and his goal against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup proves he can do it at every level.
Rafa Benitez has shown he will give a chance to anyone if they deserve it, and it looks as though Broadhead will get to go again before the end of the season.
