Everton in ‘final stages’ of Nathan Patterson signing from Rangers – Fabrizio Romano
Everton are in the “final stages” of signing Rangers sensation Nathan Patterson this week, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Sky Sports journalist has shared that the deal is worth up to £11million with significant add-ons, similar to the fees shared around already.
Rafa Benitez has already sealed a new left-back in the shape of Vitaliy Mykolenko, and he finally looks to be solving the problem on the right, too.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Romano shared the latest news with this pursuit looking as though it is coming to an end.
“Deal set to be completed for Nathan Patterson to join Everton from Rangers,” he wrote. “Negotiation at final stages.
“He’ll be Toffees second signing after Mykolenko. Everton fee around £11m plus add ons. Lucas Digne still expected to leave this month.”
Brilliant.
This is yet another breath of fresh air at Goodison Park.
For too long have we seen older players coming to the end of their careers arrive at the club, and simply make too little of an impact for big wages.
Now, it looks as though Benitez has scrapped that old Marcel Brands plan and is going the opposite way, something that should only benefit everyone.
Patterson and Mykolenko should be able to come in and make the full-back positions their own for many years to come on either side, and that is something we have lacked for years.
Both may have demanded somewhat large fees given our FFP standings, but with Lucas Digne still on the way out, he should recoup the majority of that.
We can’t wait to see these two in action.
