Everton in the hunt to sign Omar Colley
Everton are one of the clubs reportedly interested in signing Omar Colley in the January transfer window.
According to a report by Italian football website Club Doria, the Sampdoria defender is willing to move to the Premier League, and he has recently changed his agent.
Everton, however, could face strong competition from the likes of Leeds United and Newcastle United for his signature.

Next target?
Everton have completed their second signing of the January window after landing Nathan Patterson from Rangers.
The right-back has become the second signing for the Toffees within a space of four days, following the arrival of Ukraine defender Vitaliy Mykolenko.
Rafa Benitez is expected to bring in one or two more players in January, and it remains to be seen whether Colley would be one of them.
While signing a box-to-box midfielder, a back-up striker, and an attacking midfielder is top priorities, the Toffees boss could look to sign another defender as well this month.

The Toffees have four central defenders – Yerry Mina, Michael Keane, Mason Holgate and Ben Godfrey – and yet their defensive record has been very poor.
Mina has struggled for fitness and it has reached a stage where the club cannot take any further gamble on him.
Keane has been pretty average this season, while Holgate’s future has been speculated in the media in recent months.
With this in mind signing an experienced defender makes sense. Colley has been a colossal figure for Sampdoria in recent years, and he would be a smart signing for the club.
