Inter Milan cool interest in Everton defender Lucas Digne
Inter Milan have cooled their interest to sign Everton defender Lucas Digne in January, according to reports from Sky Sports (transfer centre, 4 January, 12:08)
The Nerazzurri are one of the clubs that reportedly showed interest in Digne, with a swap deal offer was being discussed recently [SportMediaset].
However, the Toffees have made it clear that they won’t entertain any loan move for Digne this month.

Bold transfer decision
Digne is facing an uncertain future at the club after apparently falling out with Rafa Benitez.
The 28-year-old has made 13 appearances for the Toffees in the league and he last played in the 4-1 derby defeat against Liverpool last month.
The defender, who was labelled as “sensational” by Andy Hinchcliffe (May 19), was an unused substitute in the 3-2 defeat against Brighton last week, with Benitez using Seamus Coleman in his position.

Everton reportedly want around £25 million for the French defender, but they are not willing to listen to any loan offers [The Athletic].
The Toffees have already signed Ukraine defender Vitaliy Mykolenko while Nathan Patterson is reportedly on his way to join the club from Rangers [Liverpool Echo].
Financially it doesn’t make much sense to send Digne out on loan. Several Premier League clubs including Chelsea and Newcastle are reportedly keen on Digne [The Chronicle], and they can now forget about signing him on loan this month.
It’s a bold transfer decision taken by the club.
In other Everton news, the Toffees are plotting January loan-to-buy bid for centre-mid hailed by Jack Grealish last month.
