Alan Myers: Nothing official about Everton ace Calvert-Lewin’s injury

Alan Myers claims that there is nothing from the Everton end that would suggest Dominic Calvert-Lewin has picked up another injury.

There were fears that the England international was injured after returning to action over the weekend.

However, as things stand, Myers, the Sky Sports news editor, believes that there’s not much into it.

He said, via his personal Twitter account, “Coming back from a long injury can be difficult and needs time but as I say not heard anything official at all.”

Relief

There wasn’t too much to back up the initial injury fears so it did not seem anything serious.

For someone as reliable as Myers to come out and say it, allays fears that the Everton fans might have had.

Calvert-Lewin started the season exceptionally well for the Toffees but injuries ruled him out for a considerable amount of time.

However, he now seems back in action and ready to win matches for his team and the manager.

Everton

Results have been far from impressive of late as Everton have lacked a focal point in the final third.

Hopefully, he maintains this level of fitness and does not pick up another injury until the end of the season.

He might be rested for the Hull clash, but should be back for the next Premier League game.
