Everton could sign two more players before end of January window - Alan Myers

Everton could make two more signings before the end of the January window, according to Alan Myers.

The Sky Sports journalist shared his prediction when quizzed by fans after the arrival of Anwar El Ghazi from Aston Villa.

El Ghazi has been brought in on loan from our Premier League rivals, with more expected in and out of Goodison Park this month.

Writing on his personal Twitter account in the past 24 hours, Myers shared what he expected in the next couple of weeks.

“Don’t know but would guess one or two,” he said.

Get it done.

The areas that need addressing are clear.

With Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin both returning from injuries in recent weeks, the final third should no longer be an issue, especially with El Ghazi adding to the options.

Midfield and the heart of the defence are the two real problems for Rafa Benitez to deal with in the next two weeks.

Allan and Abdoulaye Doucoure have no genuine backup and that is leading to them struggling themselves with all of the pressure.

Another central defender would be ideal too, with Kevin Campbell insisting a leader is needed in that area of the pitch at this moment in time.

Progress has been made very quickly with our three signings already, so we can confidently predict that work has already shifted behind the scenes.
