Arsenal cast eye on Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Arsenal are casting their eye on Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the January window, according to Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth.
The Gunners are looking to sign a striker this month with the future of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in serious doubt.
Sheth has claimed that it will be difficult to conclude a deal for the England international this month.

Sheth said on Sky Sports (transfer live blog: 21/01, 17:27): “Arsenal are also casting their eye over Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
“It’d be very difficult to do a deal for him in this transfer window, but maybe one to keep an eye on for the rest of this month – and potentially in the summer as well.”
No way
Arsenal have held a long-standing interest in Calvert-Lewin.
The Daily Mail claimed last month that the Gunners want him in January, and it seems they are still interested.
Calvert-Lewin has managed only five games this season, scoring three goals. He got injured after the opening three matches and missed a chunk of games due to a fractured toe and a quadriceps injury.
It will be next to impossible for the Gunners to lure the striker whom Tony Cottee previously hailed as “sensational” away from Goodison Park this month.

Everton are struggling badly in the league, and they need their two key players – Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin – to start delivering.
The Toffees have Salomon Rondon as the only back-up option for Calvert-Lewin, and unless the Gunners come up with a massive transfer bid, Everton simply won’t part ways with their talisman.
Moreover, Everton are without a permanent manager at the moment, and any major transfer can only take place next summer.
