Farhad Moshiri comments on Everton process of appointing next manager
Everton owner Farhad Moshiri has revealed the club are ‘working like crazy’ to ensure the next manager is the right one, Jim White has shared.
The Toffees sacked Rafa Benitez as manager less than six months after hiring him last week, after defeat to Norwich made it one win in 13 Premier League games.
The club have been linked with several names including Wayne Rooney, Frank Lampard, Fabio Cannavaro and Vitor Pereira but they are yet to make a permanent appointment.

Duncan Ferguson has been placed in temporary charge for the ‘upcoming games’, and his reign started with a 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa.
Now talkSPORT host Jim White, who has an excellent relationship with Moshiri, has shared live-on-air what the club owner has said about the ongoing process.
“We are working like crazy to get this appointment right,” Moshiri told White via text message.
Annoyed
As the fans of the club continue their protests against the board, Moshiri isn’t endearing himself to the fan base either with his lack of communication.

The fans have been left to read all the rumours and fake news surrounding the appointment because of a lack of clarity from the club, which many feel could easily be fixed with a statement.
Moshiri’s claims that the club are working hard to make the right appointment are certainly encouraging, it means nothing if they don’t follow through.
Everton are in a relegation scrap with just one win from 14 games, sitting in 16th place and just four points above the relegation zone after 20 games.
The next manager, whoever he is, has a huge job on his hands and with a week remaining of the transfer window plus half-a-season, there is time to fix this.
