Jim White shares what Farhad Moshiri told him about Everton fans during manager hunt
Jim White has shared that Farhad Moshiri has told him that he is looking to be in direct communication with Everton fans.
The owner is once again heading a search for a new manager at Goodison Park with the Toffees currently in real trouble.
Trouble escalated after the 1-0 defeat against Aston Villa, with fans questioning Bill Kenwright regarding the great fall.
Speaking live on talkSPORT White and Jordan on Monday (24/01, 11:15 am), White managed to make contact with the owner.
“I would say, just moments ago, Moshiri has just said to me there, we are now going down the route of direct communication with the fans, I think that’s good,” he said.
Years too late.
Moshiri really is scrambling for answers here, and he is looking to do anything to make himself look like the good guy.
Is he forgetting that it is his reckless appointments that have put the Toffees in this position? Sacking numerous managers and still bringing no success or consistency is really starting to harm the club.
The scenes outside Goodison on Saturday were nothing like we had seen before, but things have really started to hit a boiling point now.
Moshiri needs to come out and address these problems, rather than just feeding lines to his friend, White, that he thinks we want to hear.
It’s time to face the music, Farhad, live up to this promise and listen to those who really matter, the fans.
