Kevin Campbell reacts as Everton fans target Bill Kenwright in ugly scenes

We’re delighted to welcome former Everton striker Kevin Campbell as our exclusive columnist. Each week the former Toffees captain will be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Goodison Park…

Kevin Campbell has insisted that Everton fans are right to voice their concerns at the board after scenes out Goodison Park this week.

The ex-Toffees talisman admitted that it hasn’t been good enough in recent years, with far too much money being spent to be left in this position.

Footage emerged after the Aston Villa game of fans questioning Bill Kenwright, with Campbell suggesting there is no one else to question.

“Look, I think the Everton fans have been very patient considering how many managers and how much money has been spent,” he exclusively told Goodison News.

“They’ve spent over half a billion pounds and Everton are languishing, they’re right, it’s not good enough.

“So, you have to look at who is making the decisions, you look at that and unfortunately, the one constant in all of this that the fans have identified is Bill Kenwright, we know he’s an Everton man, but the fans have got no one else to turn too.

“There’s no one else to question.”

Campbell is spot on, who else is there to question?

If Kenwright was as big as an Everton fan as is suggested, there are no excuses for how he has watched money get spent in the past few years.

Hopefully, with the new stadium and manager coming, this is the time for change at Goodison Park, starting immediately after this break.

Time will tell, but the fans only ask for some passion and a change in fortune, the minimum anyone should get for spending their hard-earned cash.
