Everton explore options to sign Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli
Everton are reportedly exploring options to pull off a last-gasp move for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli.
According to The Telegraph, the Toffees are looking at the idea of paying a small transfer fee initially and promising future payments to Spurs.
Both sides believe a deal for the 37-cap England international is difficult to get done on deadline day, but the Toffees are continuing to look at the situation.

Snap him up
Alli is a name that just jumped onto the scene in the last few hours, which could suggest that it is a panic buy.
However, the Toffees do need an X-Factor player and he could be perfect for that.
He will be looking to bring his career back on track and under a manager like Frank Lampard he can do just that.
Not only is he terrific as a number 10, he can also play in a deeper midfield position and is good at playing on the flanks as well.

At Spurs, he often played as a second striker along with Harry Kane and was a goal-scoring threat as well.
There’s no reason to think why he would not be a perfect fit for Everton and the club needs to get this deal over the line as quickly as possible.
Hopefully, Spurs understand their predicament and agree to a small initial transfer fee.
