Paris Saint-Germain want to re-sign Everton striker Moise Kean – report

Paris Saint-Germain want to re-sign Moise Kean from Everton this summer but will have to guarantee the ‘important’ figures they expect from Juventus, according to Calciomercato.

Kean re-joined Juventus on a two-year loan deal last summer with an obligatory €7m (£5.9m) buy-clause with “easily achievable” objectives, plus a further €3m (£2.5m) in bonuses.

However after the Turin club signed Dusan Vlahovic for £63.2m in January, the chances of Kean having a first-team future at the club have lessened dramatically.

According to Calciomercato if Kean can’t get regular football, Mino Raiola will look to move him on and Paris Saint-Germain are interested.

Kean spent last season on loan in Paris and did well, scoring 17 goals in 41 appearances. PSG asked for him again in January during discussions with Juventus about Mauro Icardi, but a deal couldn’t be done because he’d already played for two clubs this season.

The Italian report claims Paris ‘will try again in June’, but Everton have already made it clear to Juventus that whoever wants to sign him will have to match the figures already agreed.

Forgotten man

Kean is a bit of a forgotten man on Merseyside, having spent just one season at the club which failed miserably.

He’s best remembered for being substituted on and off in the same game against Manchester United by Duncan Ferguson, but he showed in Paris that he does have great potential. He was described as ‘very talented‘ by former striker Pauleta, who praised him greatly during his time in Ligue 1.

With the future of Dominic Calvert-Lewin up in the air heading into the summer window, Kean could prove to be an ace up the sleeve for Everton if Juventus don’t want to keep hold of him.

They could either bring him back from the loan by agreeing on a deal with Juventus to cancel the move or make a good amount of money by selling him on and putting that towards signing a replacement.

The latter seems far more likely, but we just saw Rafa Benitez as Everton manager so never say never.
