The Toffees the game strongly and deservedly took the lead through Seamus Coleman.
They kept probing and eventually scored their second when Keane scored a thrilling header from an Anthony Gordon cross.

What a performance
The Toffees have bossed proceedings in all aspects and deserve to go into the break with a comfortable lead.
They have completely outplayed Marcelo Bielsa’s men and Frank Lampard will love to have won the tactical battle against the Argentine.
The two have history from the Spygate saga back during their time in the Championship.

Newcastle’s 3-1 loss proved that there was a lot of work to be done by Lampard, but this performance showed that he’s getting a tune out of most of his players.
It’s important that they don’t take their feet off the pedal and push for the three points.
Leeds will be coming out all guns blazing in the second half so Everton must be vary of the challenges they could pose.
