The 20-year-old was superb during the game as the Toffees earned a 3-0 win against the Whites in the Premier League clash on Goodison Park.

Bolasie responded by saying: “Keep going my bro.”

Best so far

It was arguably the best performance of the season from Everton.

The Toffees were 2-0 up by half-time with goals coming from Seamus Coleman and Michael Keane.

Richarlison appeared to have scored the third goal after firing past Illan Meslier but it took a deflection off Gordon.

This has been a breakthrough season for the young talent.

He already showed his potential under Rafa Benitez, and now he is flourishing under Lampard as well.

Gordon emerged out with some credit in Everton’s 3-1 defeat against Newcastle at St James’ Park, and he continued his impressive form with a stellar performance against the Whites.

It was the Toffees’ second Premier League victory since September and the first under Lampard. They are now five points clear of the relegation zone.

Everton have some crucial games ahead of them this month, and the victory will have given them a huge boost.
