Super Computer makes Everton relegation prediction after Southampton loss
Everton are predicted to avoid the drop despite being in a bad run of form over the last few months.
The Toffees had returned to winning ways against Leeds United and there was a belief that Frank Lampard was the right man to turn things around.
However, a 2-0 loss against Southampton on Saturday (February 19), left them with more questions than answers.

If FiveThirtyEight’s Super Computer is anything to go by, then the Toffees do not have much to worry about.
They’re predicted to finish in 16th place with 38 points to their name while Newcastle in 18th are backed to get only 36.
Improvement needed
While they’re predicted to avoid relegation, they cannot keep playing like they did against Saints.
Everton were sloppy, lethargic and clueless from minute one and it’s no surprise that they were battered by the hosts.

For some reason, Lampard persisted with playing a 4-4-2 which was reminiscent of Rafa Benitez’s system.
With players like Donny van de Beek in the team and Dele Alli on the bench, that’s not a formation that’s going to get the best out of them.
He has to make a big decision on Richarlison and either move him to the flanks or drop him altogether.
The two-striker system is clearly not working for the Toffees and Dominic Calvert-Lewin is also struggling to find his feet.
